Christmas Wish List

I’m not a big fan of jewelry, I’d rather have house items.  So, here’s what’s on my Christmas wish list:

I would love a new comforter to replace our duvet.  I’m not a fan of the constant shift of the cover or large expanse of white.  I really love most things designed by Dwell Studio, and this comforter is the perfect mix of modern and traditional.  The neutral color palette is perfect for an ever-changing design, too.

Another item I’ve been looking for without success are affordable, good-looking leather storage ottomans.  We really need to add some organization to our entryway and these from Crate and Barrel would be the perfect multi functional solution, minus about $135.00 each, please.  If you’ve seen a similar designed ottoman, please let me know.

The Etsy shop 1Canoe2 has really great art, like the series of letterpress state prints.  I would take either Montana or Minnesota, I’m not picky.  The 2011 Things That Are Long letterpress calendar is so cute too.

Ben Santa, those are my top two items, but if you’re looking for some stocking stuffers, here are a few items that recently made their way to my Wist:

West Elm’s wood slices salad plates are gorgeous and wood would look great paired with any dinnerware, but especially these bird napkin rings from Z Gallerie.

To make office time more fun, how about some of these adorable bird paperclips

This chalkboard thought bubble would also find a home in my office, or the kitchen…

Last but not least, this velvet and ricrac pillow to add a lovely texture and pattern for a winter setting.  Though, I could probably do a DIY version of the last two.  Maybe hold off on those.  That’s all this year.

  1. I just got an email about a sale on storage ottomans from BULX.com, you should definitely check it out! I can send you a referral to join, if you need one (I’m not sure you do, you can probably just sign up on your own)

I have 2 ottomans just like that one but black from Target. They were on sale for 50 a piece and are normally 69.99. I like them the best because you can flip the lip over and it is a tray and they are soo easy to move around wherever I want them for seating or tables. They have so many different styles, patterns, and sizes.

  5. Pretty ooteman but more than I can afford. I got one from Walmart for $65 and free shipping to my house. True not real leather but serves our purpose. Merry Christmas

  6. We bought the Target version as well. World Market also has a similar ottoman, and they frequently do coupons and sales, so you can get it quite a bit cheaper than their list price. I’ve also seen these type of ottomans at Homegoods.

Just came back from Home Goods (my first time there and it was AWESOME and also a little frightening how many things I saw that I wanted!) and saw almost the exact ottoman (they also had a round one!) for $65!
