You know I’m a sucker for pillows, so I was thrilled when Jillian agreed to a giveaway. Jillian Rene Decor is a lovely little Etsy shop chock full of pillows.
Here are a few of my favorites:

I haven’t been in a pillow fight that I recall, but for my 17th birthday my girlfriends and I rented a hotel room in a nearby town (to use the pool – it was November). We bought a chocolate cake to eat but wound up having a heck of a food fight with it. I hope we remembered to leave a tip for the cleaning lady!

I have indeed been in fun fights. I had the most fun mom! She let my 3 siblings and I get wild and crazy as kids one time with a food fight in our kitchen. She even joined in! It was one of those times when we were laughing to hard we couldn’t even make noise! We were covered with everything you could imagine. It’s a great memory for me and a fun one to think about just before mothers day.

/ May 11, 2012I’m a subscriber already…and I’ve done most of those fun fights except for food. I don’t think I’ve ever wasted good food in a fight. HA! My senior year of high school there is a school wide “senior skip day” when the seniors all ditch school. Then we drove around in pickup trucks and had a town wide water fight (only using water balloons would get you in trouble-they can bust a windshield apparently) everything else was fair game. Pillowfights, paintball, mud….done all those too! HA!!! I guess it is good I was blessed with 3 sons….I’ve been trained and I can take ‘em all!
