Gimme a Giveaway: Miles of Light

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries, Thank You!***

Are you looking to feather your nest?  Lucky for you, we have a feather print from Miles of Light to give to one lucky reader.  We ordered one for our bird, feather and tree gallery wall.  You remember it, don’t you?

Miles of Light is a fantastic Etsy shop, showcasing nature at its finest.  Natural elements such as feathers, rocks, leaves, sticks, pinecones, and shells are beautifully and meticulously photographed against solid backgrounds to create stunning art prints.  Such an amazing shop with much to choose from.

We chose Autumn Feathers because it matched our theme best, but we also think the Brown and Gold Collection is pretty and luxurious.

The Winter Series is beautifully simple and charming.  The essence of winter is perfectly captured without having to step into the cold.  If you love winter, this series is for you.

  1. if i was a bird well, i would have to be a penguin, love how they always look dressed up and that they mate for life!! wonderful fact about penguins!!

  2. I’m a subscriber! I I were a bird, I think I’d want to be an owl. No particular reason, I just think they’re pretty.

  3. I would love to be an owl! I’m definitely NOT a morning person and owls are so cute! I actually just got an adorable dress with little owls on them and the brand is Audrey – my daughters name! It makes more sense when you know that her 1st birthday party in December was owl themed and she has lots of owl decorations in her nursery. I knew I needed to own the dress when it was the last one in the store and it was my size! 🙂

  4. I love owls…mostly because they live in my backyard and my little girls say that they are “our owls”…we hear them all the time and see them quite often too…they are beautiful. We’ve even seen baby owls recently…so cool!

  5. I “liked” and voted and subscribed, and if I were a bird, I would be a Common Poorwill, a type of nightjar (also called goatsucker, but let’s ignore that, shall we?). Apparently nightjars are nondescript birds with large heads that forage at night on the wing, their gaping mouths capturing insects as they fly. Most importantly, they hibernate. I, too, am nondescript, forage at night with my mouth hanging open in front of the fridge, and if I could sleep all winter, you bet your tailfeather I would. And yes, I got this information by Googling “birds that hibernate.”

  6. wow, I love their stuff. I love birds. if I was one, I would be a orange cheeked wax bill. I have an aviary with several of these little birds. they are cute, and interested in everything.

  7. I started following your blog about a month or two ago and I love that it comes to my email now!

I would be a penguin so I could slide around on my belly down into the water.

  8. I just became a follower. I’m so impressed by what you and your husband have done with your home.
Great giveaway – love the photos and agree with you that the Winter Series is exquisite.

  9. I think that I would be an Owl. Although, being female, for most birds I would also like to switch to being male, since they are always the bright pretty ones – not fair!

  10. I like canarys. I’ve always wished I could sing!

I love the print with the feathers. anything bird goes in my house!

  11. I think I would be a great blue heron- because I love wadin in streams:)- and I’m really tall:)
