Love the feather necklace, so Jenni Aniston 🙂 My fav fall drink, that I always make for the first time in the fall on Halloween is Wassel. My dad use to make it in the fall when we were growing up. It made the house smell so good and he always left it on the stove for us to pour anytime. Now as a parent I do the same for my family. I make a huge batch on Halloween, serve it to neighbors (spiked 🙂 while they are trick or treating. The kids love the warm-you-up-yummy drink after playing outside in the cold and a long night trick or treating.
I gallon of apple cider (local if you have an awesome farmers market)
1/2 gallon orange juice (more or less to taste)
1/2 gallon of lemon juice (more of less to take)
6 cups of sugar (didn’t say it was low cal or sugar….again more or less to taste or calorie)
9 cups of water
4-6 cinnamon sticks
2-4 TBS chopped fresh ginger
2-4 TBS of cloves
boil water. add sugar, allow to dissolve. Let stand for an hour. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil. Turn down to a simmer. For an adult beverage add rum (or any liquor to choice).

I’m treasuring lockets right now & this one is beautiful. To answer the question? My favorite fall drink is apple pie in a cup. Apple cider (warmed), a little bit of cinnamon syrup (Starbucks – only out for a short time each year) and whipped cream on top. I know I’m forgetting an ingredient but these are the absolute yummiest warm drinks EVER. Ever. Well… ok… that & Starbucks caramel cider. 🙂

I’m a suscriber and there’s a tie between 2 drinks that I love in the fall. The first and probably the close winner is warm apple cider with real caramel sauce and topped with whipped cream and cinnamon. It tastes just like apple pie! My other go to fall drink is an eggnog chai. Very fall-ish!
Nothing beats a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks to warm you up 🙂

Forgot to include my fav fall drink. Tough decision!! I LOVE hot apple cider… but also adore hot chocolate! My fav is hot cocoa made with chopped dark chocolate in steamed milk with vanilla and sugar – so, really low cal, ha!

Through the Looking Glass….how clever, I love it! One of my favorite fall drinks is wassail….the mellowed spicey flavors all blended together and warmed up…is addictive! I like to make up batches and keep in the frig, then warm up a cup whenever I have the urge.
