It’s December, so that means it’s acronym time. Behold, November!
New York: a custom cut out for a special friend. And needing to complain (and ask for advice) about bar stools.

- Oiled up and ready for use: our wood counters are finally kitchen ready.
Ornaments are being made, too.
Very huge kitchen cabinets: a giant refrigerator cabinet…
and tall uppers.
Even added a plan: A floor plan, that is.
And, we added a floor plan of the basement shortly after.
Made a few decisions: We chose a KitchenAid dishwasher and light fixtures.
Brought in the appliances: Our new backless range kicks serious arse.
Etsy overload: More of our favorite Etsy finds. Can’t get enough, can we?
Remodelaholic: We joined Cassity and a band of talented bloggers to create a living room mood board.
In a nutshell, that’s how we spent our November. Oh, and we gorged ourselves on food. What about you? Favorite highlight from your November?
What a cute idea summing up November using the letters! I love it. It’s also a lot of fun seeing everything from the past month.
Love this! My favorite thing about November was getting one of our ugly fans replaced! I only have about 5 more to go =).
Hi Amanda,
I have been following your blog for a while now – found you on YHL. I was intrigued by all the renovations you had already done on your cute house, but now the kitchen reno is totally blowing me away! I was reading some of your past blog entries and saw the one about how you organize your books on the bookshelf – first by color and then by genre. OMG! I didn’t think there was someone else out there as OCD as I am! I AGONIZED over how to arrange our books on our new bookshelves! I know most people would think us nuts, but it’s just the way we’re built! BTW – just love your acronym for November – what a really cute and novel idea! And also – your homemade ornaments have totally inspired me to create my own and give as gifts as well as keep some, so thanks!
Hi Kim!
Aww, thanks so much! Our kitchen is definitely the biggest project we’ve tackled. And, I think it’s fantastic that you’re also OCD about organizing and such. It HAS to make sense, though. I can’t do things that are strictly pretty when I need to use them. Thanks for the compliments about the acronym, too. Glad you’ve found some inspiration. 🙂
Thanks!
Amanda
