This giveaway is closed for entries.  See who won here.

Can you believe it’s March already?  I can’t, it feels like we were just ringing in the new year.  To ring in March, we’ve got an awesome giveaway from the Etsy shop Curiously Wrought.

This little shop is stocked with state art, and you know I have a weakness for maps.  But these aren’t your regular maps.  Check out these wood, nail, and thread statement art pieces.

  1. Humn, I like the word breakfasts becasue I say it wrong and it always makes my husband laugh (and sometime give me a kiss). I don’t think I will ever say it right. 🙂

  2. So I liked Curiously Wrought on Facebook, so here’s the second entry! Woot! Another word I like is Oregon (from there), since it’s great when people say it wrong and you can tell where they are from in how they say it.

  3. I follow on google reader – cool giveaway! Wrought reminds me of another funny word I love – wriggle. (most people pronounce it riggle – but it’s wiggle!)

  4. I am subscribed via email. I cannot stand the word YUMMY or any version of it – yum, yummers, yummilicious. Ick Ick Ick.

  5. I already subscribe. One of my favorite words is lovely. It’s just so old fashioned and pretty! One of my least favorites: ginormous.

  6. Added them to my etsy favs. They don’t have my state, NC, but I like the details on the Maryland piece.

  7. My least favorite word is probably ‘moist’; I don’t know why. I’m sure a lot of people have/will say the same.

  8. Least favorite word has to be “moist.” I worked at a summer camp where we were always sweaty or recovering from a water fight. I was all too often moist…not a good feeling!

  9. My favorite word as a teenager was angst. It was so fitting for that time in my life. Nowadays, I would have to say my favorite word would have to be “breathe”. I have two special needs children and I constantly tell myself this on a daily basis.

  10. Already subscribe! My favorite word is Spanish for carrot: zanahoria. I love saying it! Zanahoria! Least favorite word: moist. Just makes my skin crawl.

  11. I subscribe through Google Reader. What about…supercalifragilisticexpialidocious? Now that is a word! 🙂

  12. I subscribe through email. I’ve been wanting one of these string type maps for several months.
Can’t think of a favorite word but “food” comes to mind. :O)

  13. I added Curiously Wrought to my Etsy favorites. I like the little New York since it is the only state I’ve lived in that’s pictured. My husband and I are from opposite sides of PA. I would LOVE one of these with a heart over Philly and another over Pittsburgh!

  14. I follow you on Google Reader! My least favorite work is “moist”. Ugh. I shudder even typing it and considered coming up with something else. Gross.

  15. I subscribed.

My favorite word is “nosocomial.” It means hospital-acquired, as in you went into the hospital and then got an infection just from being there.

  16. Curiosity Wrought is an easy favorite! I’m from Washington, left my heart in California and I now Iive in Indiana. Which state would I choose?

  17. Suckers only because my three year old has taken to saying suckas after every sentence he speaks “I love you mom suckas” not so cute.

  18. i subscribe via google reader 🙂
LOVE to have a MT map…which isn’t on their page unfortunately.

  19. So fun reading through these comments! I dislike the word sneakers. They are tennis shoes, which makes no sense because I don’t play tennis!

  20. I like words like “therefore” and “subsequently” and “regardless”. They always seem to trip people up.

  21. And just liked Curiously Wrought on facebook! Thought of a catch phrase I dislike… “hit that”

  22. I made Curiously Wrought a favorite on my Etsy! I can’t decide on any one map, so I think I would go for Alabama (for me), Louisiana (for my husband), and Florida (where we live now and where my son was born). One at a time, I suppose…

  23. I follow you through my Google Reader. Your blog is great.
My least favorite word is Communal. I hate the way it sounds and it’s definition.

  24. I already follow you in my Google Reader! My hate the word moist, unless it’s used to describe cake of course!

  25. I subscribe. My most favorite word is discombobulated. Someone once told me it isn’t a real word and I don’t care. It’s still my favorite.

  26. Curiously Wrought is now an Etsy favorite and my favorite item? New Jersey. I was born & raised, moved to Washington State in 1989 but I miss home quite a bit.

  27. I’ve liked Curiously Wrought on Facebook. Hoping here…I’m practically drooling to hang Jersey on my wall. 🙂

  28. Finally… I’ve liked Our Humble A{Bowe}d on Facebook. Fingers crossed. And thank you for the chances. 🙂
