Gimme a Giveaway: Mohawk Rug

This giveaway is closed.  Thanks for entering.  See who won here.

A few weeks ago, I received a Mohawk Home rug to review.  We’ve lived with it and I’m happy to say it holds up well to our family and is easy to clean.

Of course we were excited to snag a free rug, but we are equally excited that Mohawk Home is giving a rug to one lucky reader, too!  You can choose any style that tickles your pickle.

Perhaps something thick and plush, like this Shimmer Shag:

Something bold and colorful like Tropical Acres:

Neutral with a playful pattern, like Granite Transitional:

Pretty Modern Botanical:

A colorful faux bois Cyclone Rug:

Or you could get a runner in the same Cambridge style we chose:

As you can see, there’s something for everyone and every style. So poke around the various retailers because selection does vary slightly at each store.

The Goods: Any rug 5 by 8 or smaller, $150 or under rug from Mohawk Home.

To Enter:  Leave a comment, which can (but doesn’t have to) include our Just for Fun question.

Just for Fun: To walk all over one of these rugs, tell us where you like to take a walk.   Through historic neighborhoods, admiring the homes?  On a sandy beach, picking up shells along the way?  Anywhere, as long as you are alone?

  1. What an awesome giveaway! I like to walk in my neighborhood (where I can see historic houses and meet my neighbors) and in the woods.

  2. I used to live in a bigger city and loved walking up and down city blocks. It was fun to see the mix of old homes, high rise apartments, and little shops (that I could peak in the windows of). I miss those walks, but not the traffic! =)

  3. What a great giveaway! I love walking through out neighborhood at dusk when people have their lights on but having closed their blinds yet. LOL!

  4. I’m not much for walks (work + school + new kitty don’t leave much time for recreational walking), but I do love a good run though the neighborhood around my apartment.

  5. I used to live by an amazing park that had the best trail. It ran along a river, so you could walk by the water, and there were lots of little side trails off into the woods, so you could walk in the trees.

  6. I love walking around our new neighborhood to see the other homes, meet some of our neighbors, and just take it all in. Great giveaway!

  7. Mm, my favorite place to walk? Probably around Europe! It’s been several years since I’ve had a chance to do it, but the week-long trip I took with my girlfriends was nothing but walking and I LOVED every step of it!

  8. Your blog just yelled at me for posting comments too quickly! Doesn’t she know that I have all of the necessary windows open so that I can get my additional entries?? Sheesh. 😉

    Just “liked” Mohawk on FB!

  9. I love to take walks in a carpet store that sells MoHawk Carpet because it smells so good!!! Have you ever smelled new carpet!!! Lovely and new! Pick me!!!

  10. I have also subscribed to their YouTube.

And forgotten how to spell my own name in my previous comments. Maybe I am commenting too quickly and your blog was on to me after all!

  11. I am happy to just walk around the block as long as I have my 3 year old assistant with me. I love to see the world (and bugs! eep!) through his eyes.

  12. I like to walk beside water… streams, the ocean, a lake. It doesn’t matter as long as I can see and hear it!

  13. i like to walk thru in new cities and neighborhoods on vacation. if i did nothing other than walk around to see sites i’d be happy.

  14. I love to walk through the redwood trees near Santa Cruz, CA…a little harder to do ever since moving to the Midwest. But still my favorite place on earth!

  15. I’m kind of digging the Medallion print rug from Target! Anysweats, I jog (not that I like it) around the neighborhood with my trainer – AKA my 5 year old on her bike. I would prefer to lay around on a nice new rug though…because I’m lazy 😛 Otherwise, I love walking around any stores and “browsing” which usually turns into a large purchase. Oops.

  16. We live a few blocks from a college, and we love taking walks through campus during the fall – all the colors make it so beautiful.

  17. Would love a run for my living room! A walk on the beach with my family is the best but I’ll take anything.

  18. Great giveaway! I like to walk around our neighborhood at night. Yes I admit it I like to look in windows to see how people decorate, but I do it from the sidewalk of course,

  19. Thanks for the giveaway! I love to walk through the older part of our neighborhood (we live in the newer) where the trees are older and bigger, the houses are more “lived-in” and the overall feeling is a little more tight-knit. I can’t wait for our side of the neighborhood to start filling in, it’s such a lovely place to live.

  20. Ahhh please pick me, my dining room is rugless, we need one soo bad.

I like to talk walks at night after it snows or while it is snowing. My dad used to take me and the dog for walks in a nearby wooded area every time it snowed. So calm and pretty.

  21. I subscribed to Mohawk. Whew, that’s all. Great giveaway. I’m redecorating my family room and could use on splash of color on the floor!

  22. I adore taking walks in the woods. There is nothing that calms me like a stroll in the trees and leaves. :O)

  23. I love walking with my family around the zoo. Our daughter has a blast seeing all of the animals. We could spend two hours or more walking around, and still have more to see!
