  1. I subscribe in Google Reader.
My least fav word is ‘substanitive’. I’m not even sure I’ve spelled it right, but I can barely ever get it out of mouth correctly. I’m a paralegal – that’s why it even enters my vocab ever!

  2. HI, I already follow you using Google Reader 🙂

Since my mother language is Portuguese my fav word in English is Issues ( I love the way it sounds ) and the one I hate is whirlwind, so hard to say..

  3. I have favorite phrases more so than favorite words. “vicious cycle” is one of them 🙂 I love these map art pieces!!!

  4. I follow through Google Reader.

I hate the word “supplement.” I actually used to have to write it ALL THE TIME at my old job, and I look at it and see “supple-ment” not “sup-le-ment” – I want to spell it suppliment. Also, bankruptcy. Another word I have to use a lot and have a hard time spelling. There can’t be that many consonants in a row!

  5. I subscribe via Google Reader. My least favorite word is “moist”. It just makes me wrinkle my nose up when I hear it, I don’t know why!

  6. I would love a map of Colorado!!!! I had to write the word “little” over and over recently and after four times it started to look really funny and I began to doubt if I was spelling it right.

  7. I added Curiously Wrought to my Etsy favs. Since I’m from Canada, my fav province isn’t listed but I do like the colours of the Maryland piece.

  8. These are so cute! Even though our state is the worst for cute art, I live in a giant rectangle called Colorado, I want one! As far as words, hmmm…. I’ve never put much thought into it. I have heard of people not liking the word moist before though. Oh, I also have a weird habit of wanting to double the vowels in two letter words. Other than wanting to spell me with an extra e I can’t think of them right now, but I’m always having to fix that. Oh dear, I’m rambling now.

  9. I suscribed ages ago! 🙂

And this seller is already one of my favorites, which why I’m super pumped they’re featured here!

Ok, now as for least favorite word: literally. I don’t like it because it’s abused and used incorrectly often. Prime example, a friend once said to me “Shit hit the fan, literally”. My goodness, I hope not. How would you clean the walls? Heck, how did it get up there in the first place?!

  10. I subscribe through Google Reader and I love every second of it! I have lots of favorite words…one of my most favorite (and least used) is defenestrate: to throw (a person or thing) out a window.

  11. I added Curiously Wrought as an Etsy favorite – they have very fun stuff! It would be a great gift for a friend of mine that moved of state recently!

  12. I favorited them on Etsy! I would say my favorite state on there right now is Massachusetts (I love Boston!) But of course I’d love a Montana one, or a Missouri 🙂

  13. and i added them to my etsy favs. even if i dont win, i might have to seriously think about getting myself one of these pieces anyway!

  14. LOVE these!

I subscribe through Google Reader. My fave word is “milk”. I don’t know why? There are a ton of words I dislike, most of them are too gross to mention. 😉

  15. Cool! I added the shop to my favorites and since I didn’t see Virginia art I like the Texas since it’s red and blue.

  16. What a very cool map! I dig maps too.

My favorite word is slumber. It just rolls off your tongue and conjures up images of a peaceful dream state.

My least favorite word is the “F” word and I don’t mean f*ck. I mean the one that rhymes with art. Makes my teeth curl.

  17. I added Curiously Wrought to my Etsy favs. Even though I have never lived in Maryland, I love the way that one looks.

  18. Love this! Favorite word: Super, because when my five year old uses that word he says “Shuper”.

I already subscribe to the blog (and love it by the way!)

  19. I added Curiously Wrought to my favorites on Etsy – I can say why people are picking Maryland! It turns out beautifully! Interested in seeing how Wisconsin looks… 🙂

  20. I am a SB fan of yours. One of my favorite words is “a lot, a lot.”
(there is a bit of a story there)

  21. Hey – this is a fun place. I’ve signed up – and I also voted for you on the homies.
One of my least favorite words is groat, and a phrase I enjoy saying is saying is “slack-jawed”.

Love this art! Its just too cool.

  22. Curiously Wrought is a etsy favorite of mine. Another favorite word of mine is “Mama” because I have an adorable little boy that calls me that.

  23. Oh, I just love these!

And, my least favorite word is ‘moist’. Everyone in my life knows I hate it, but still torture me by trying to fit it into casual conversation as often as possible. As much as I hate it, it is funny.

  24. I have forever cringed at the word “crust.” I remember that feeling back in elementary school while learning about the layers of the earth.

  25. I’m a subscriber through Google Reader! I am drawing a total blank when it comes to words. I know there are words I despise, but I can’t think of them right now!Great giveaway 🙂

  26. I’m subscribed!! I would LOVE the California map. I actually bought matching California necklaces 8 years ago when my sister was in the Peace Corps to remind her of home 🙂

    Thanks for hosting!!

  27. I am a subscriber. Found you from Young House Love. My least favorite word is moist. Makes my skin crawl.

  28. I subscribe via Google Reader!

My favorite word isn’t even an English word – it’s pamplemousse, French for cantaloupe! And, like the majority of girls I know, I hate the words “moist” and “panties.” (and I’m sorry for the image I may have conjured in anyone’s brain….)
