Waaaay back in March we shared an Etsy shop, Ara133 Photography, with you. We bought two tree prints from this shop. One lives in the small basement bedroom.
The other is part of our bird, tree, and feather gallery wall.
And we framed their fantastic business card.

Oh they are beautiful. One can feel how peaceful they.
When the children where younger we used to go camping in Lakefield,ON. The kid’s would get so excited while we where packing knowing that in 4 hours we would be setting up the tent and putting the boat in the water. They loved the slow trips on the Trent Canal and when they grew older we added water skis. We still get out the pictures and laugh how Steven had said that he would get up on the skis without any trouble (first time) and he did. So Brett (youngest) had to give it his best and he did with a bit of work. Hilary’s turn and she took a bit more, but again another victory. We where so proud of all of them. What great memories of those family trips. Now they are all gone from home. Out in the big world. Making new memories.

Love those prints! My most nerve wracking starting point was when I made the switch from being a biology major to a graphic design major. That first art class I had was scary, but I’m so glad I made the switch.

Journey is such a great word. I have been on so many lovely journies, but my favorite is the one that started with a need to get a tan on a beach in South lake Tahoe!

My favorite journey was when I traveled through Asia with my step mother and father. We went to Laos when it was just recovering from their civil war, we swam on the beaches of Thailand and we ate at a five star hotel.. It was an amazing trip. (I already subscribe)

Most beautiful journey – walking up the hill to the castle Neuschwanstein in the middle of winter, and seeing the beautiful surrounding landscape through branches heavy and glittering with snow. Breathtaking.

Checked out Arra133’s etsy shop and the pics are all so lovely, but my favourite would have to be the fall leaves photo–reminds me of autumn back home in Ontario. We don’t get anything close to those kind of spectacular colours here in BC unfortunately.
