  1. hi i’m a subscriber, and those hats are super cute 🙂 my first job was working the cash register at Chick-Fil-A. for all of about a month before they decided they no longer needed me.

  2. I always read posts on google reader! My first job was… babysitting? I started doing that at age 11, followed by several years working at camp and internships. But my first REAL job was at National Geographic.

  3. I’m already subscriber (and loyal reader!) Can’t wait to see the pictures of the new house!

My first job (besides baby-sitting) was at McDonald’s. I used to come home with that icky greasy feeling all over me.

  4. Hi, I subscribe through Google Reader!

My first job was working at a local video store. In the videocassette days!

  5. You’re in my Google Reader! My first job was at a college t-shirt shop as a cashier. I have many good memories of tom-foolery with my BFF who I met there! She was my MOH in my wedding this last summer too!

  6. My first job was working at a handmade chocolate candy store- The Nut Shoppe. I worked there for 3 yrs and loved it.

  7. I subscribed via email 🙂 My first job was a paper route, which I was really bad at. Then a waterpark, then a pizza joint. All the typical teenager jobs!

  8. I read your blog daily and I love it, and my first job was working as a “Tea Girl” at a local seafood restaurant. It was only open on the weekends and hated it at only $6 an hour, working my tail off for next nothing. Lets just say, that didn’t last too long. Haha.

  9. My first job was working at an amusement park. I started in catering/food service, but I was “relocated” within the park for standing up for workers’ rights.

  10. I added SallyHP to my etsy favorites.
I like the Hand-Knit Entrelac Scarf the best.
My first job was mowing lawns. I still like to mow our lawn and I love the smell of fresh cut grass.

  11. Howdy, I sunscribe via email for a good while now… my first job was a cashier at a local grocier… I always wanted to be the sacker thou…lol… love these hats and her work … thanks for the chance..

  12. I liked SallyHP on Etsy. I’m torn between the gorgeous scarf and the fun newsboy hat as my favorite item on her site. Both are spectacular.

My first job was two jobs! My senior year and I already had a year old son!! I worked after school at the mall at a retail store and nights and weekends at a restaurant. Sometimes I went to school and worked both jobs! Or worked both jobs on weekends. It was hectic! I don’t like remembering those days 🙂

  15. I just added the store as a favorite on Etsy – LOVE the newsboy hat, but the Entrelac scarf is also beautiful!

  16. Im following your blog and an Facebook. Love your great ideas. My first job was at a restaurant as a hostess and at a retail store as well.

My first job was during my senior year of high school working at Lady Foot Locker. Needless to say I find feet pretty gross after that job!

  18. My first job was at a soda fountain at an old school pharmacy. It was so fun! To this day, I still whip up one of my favorite concoctions when someone in our house isn’t feeling well 🙂

  19. P.S. I do love the Page 6 newsboy hat! But I also love the Sundae Paper – my daughter and I might have to ro-sham-bo for the prize if I’m a winner!
