Gimme a Giveaway: Studio Cherie

This giveaway is now closed.  Our lucky winner is GG!  Please check your email.

Doesn’t everyone have one ugly piece of furniture?  If you’re lucky, it’s made of wood.  Something easy to sand down to stain or paint.  But what about that super comfy chair, that shows how much it has been loved over the years?  That’s where Studio Cherie’s Custom Slipcover Craftsy class comes in.

With step by step instructional videos, you’ll have a personal seamstress fairy watching your every move.

  1. I’m a Facebook friend and I could so use this tutorial! I have some hand me down chairs that really need recovering because I can’t afford to get new chairs on a teachers salary.

  2. I have two wing chairs that I love, but the fabric…not so much. It doesn’t work since we moved to a new place. I’d love to make slipcovers for them.

  3. I have a fabric rocking chair that was my husband’s in high school (!) and one day my mother in law drove it over to our house. After I had said I didn’t want it. And now it’s in my son’s room. It could definitely use a make over!

  4. I have two matching armchairs that our dogs have loved to death — super comfortable but it’s impossible to get the dog hair out of the fabric. I’d love to redo the chairs with something more dog friendly.

  5. I like Humble abode on facebook

I want to recover a old (heirloom?) chair/rocker of my parents to use as a nursing chair/rocker

  6. I have two wingback chairs that were from my parents’ living room. They’ve made the rounds through the family, and have ended with me, because no one likes the rust-colored corduroy upholstery. I’ve been dying to tackle slipcovers for them, but couldn’t figure out where to start. Thanks for the chance to win!

  7. I would love to tackle my large sectional with some linen colored duck cloth but will probably try a smaller chair first.
