We might be slow on the train, but we’ve decided to do a monthly wrap up.  This way, we can look back on a month at a glance.  Rather than a plain post with links to past projects, I thought it would be fun to make monthly acronyms.  It might not be as cool as LASER or SCUBA, but let’s try.  So, here’s October.

• Out with the old:  Starting the kitchen demo by tearing out the soffit.  We also tore out the old cabinets and floor.

• Ordered appliances:  A kick butt new range and a massive vent hood.  And, we’ve installed the vent hood.

• Banging in nails:  Both into our new hardwood floors and the stairwell for another gallery wall.

• Eventually finding the perfect color:  Painting our master bathroom pink, three times.

• Rounding up our favs:  Scouring Etsy for our favorite items to share with you.  And we realized we need a kitchen sink.  You know, for the dead deer and all.
