In a recent post, I mentioned that I fell in love with this pantry; it had me at flour.
Yep, I’m a sucker for organization, labels, pretty glass jars and a beautiful pattern. Not only did I fall in love with the pantry, but it inspired me to do a little sprucing up of our pantry.
I decided I needed a set of labels for myself, but Miss Shelley at House of Smith’s, who also has a custom vinyl business, Wonderfully Wordy, was kind enough to add a set for one lucky duck.

Leaves Silhouette Giveaway Winner
It was so much fun to read all of your comments and some even made me laugh out loud! The day before this giveaway started was just a bad day. Let’s just say our (me, 3-year-old V and 5 month old Ev) Shopko trip was cut short (like barely in the door) by baby bodily fluids, a change in the bathroom and a nuclear toddler meltdown. When Ben got home from work, I went alone, to Goodwill, Michael’s and a few other stores. It was wonderful to slowly and aimlessly walk through the aisles. So, to get away, I go shopping or out for a walk.

Our entire family was hanging out in our theater room on Sunday. It was a cooler evening, so we had the windows open. A storm was brewing, and it was pretty windy. We heard a thud. “What was that?”, I asked? “Probably a lamp.”, Ben said. I went upstairs to check it out. Sure enough, it was a lamp. It was so windy that the curtain blew up and knocked the lamp off the table. Fortunately, it wasn’t damaged, or so I thought. The shade was just fine and the top side of the lamp seemed okay, too. Then I put it on the table and saw this:
If you recall, I bought these lamps a few months ago at T.J. Maxx. I didn’t think they would have more, because of course, T.J. Maxx carries a few of each item. Off to T.J. Maxx I went, looking for replacement lamps. When I’m looking for something and willing to spend money, I can never find something that I want, but when I’m just browsing, I find about 1 million things I want, but wasn’t looking for. Needless to say, I didn’t find anything I wanted. I guess we’ll try to fix this one. Keep your eyes peeled to see if our idea works or not.
