Gimme a Giveaway: The Living Room Floor

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries, Thank You!***

Way back in April, we showed you a new print we received from an Etsy shop, The Living Room Floor.

The design is printed on thick white card stock and mailed safely to our front door.  Stephanie has created interesting, beautifully designed, detailed quote prints with a variety of funny and inspirational quotes such as It’s a Funny Thing.

The Future Belongs to Those is a great quote for an office or a kid’s room.

Looking for inspiration to better yourself?  They Always Say is perfect to encourage you day by day.

I think most men would get a kick out of the Beer is Proof print.

My newest favorite print in the shop is That it Will Never Come Again

But the Ampersand is a really fun graphic statement.

  1. I’m subscribed. I like this quote: “In the absence of clearly-defined goals, we become strangely loyal to performing daily trivia until ultimately we become enslaved by it” (Robert Heinlein). I don’t know if I’d put it on my wall, but it’s a good reminder to stay focused on a goal. Or maybe to not watch too much reality tv.

  2. I LOVE these prints!

Here’s on of my favorite quotes/mottos: “The grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.”

    I really believe that.

  3. I follow your blog through Google reader! My favorite quote is from When Harry Met Sally. “I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.” This quote (along with the few sentences before it) was the reading at my wedding right before we said our vows. Swoon!

I am a fan of this quote by Wayne Gretzky: “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

  9. I love these prints, and I’m a subscribed follower. I love the quote ‘Do what you feel in your hear is right, for you’ll be criticized for it anyway.’ -Eleanor Roosevelt It goes along the same lines of not being able to please everyone, but makes you take a little bit more accountability 🙂

  10. My favourite quote: “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by things you didn’t do than by the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
    Marc Twain

  11. I follow you already!
My fave quote is from “Pride & Prejudice” (I can only remember it exactly from the movie – I know it’s slightly different in the book):
“My good opinion once lost, is lost forever.” – Mr. Darcy

No special meaning – I just LOVE P&P!
    Thanks! 🙂

  12. I added livingRoomFloor to my etsy faves.
I loke the That It Will Never Come Again Giclee Art Print – maybe in blue green.

  13. Already a subscriber! My fav quote is dorkay but I use it in my classroom with my students. “A ship is safe in harbor, but that is not what ships are made for.” And I shouldn’t be writing this because I am teacher, but I love the Ben Frank quote! So true!

“The dog is the god of frolic”.

  22. “…Out, out, brief candle!
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
    Signifying nothing.” -William Shakespeare

Nothing like The Bard reminding us to take life a little less seriously!

  26. Already follow your blog 🙂 My favorite quote is
To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
    And eternity in an hour.
from Williams Blake’s Poem Auguries of Innocence

  27. I love your blog! My favorite quote (and yes, I am a librarian) is,

    And so beguile thy sorrow.

One of my favorite quotes is “A happy home is one in which each spouse grants the possibility that the other may be right, though neither believes it.” Often true in our house! 🙂
